TRACKING MEASURES AND COOKIE SETTING

We want to offer you an optimal user experience in our online shop and with our advertisements, which is tailored to your individual needs. To do this, we work with various service providers and technology providers and use cookies and tracking methods. You will find detailed information below:

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website (including your shortened IP address) is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

This website uses Google Analytics exclusively with the extension "_anonymizeIp()", which ensures that the IP address is anonymized by shortening it and excludes direct personal reference. This extension means that your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. In these exceptional cases, this processing is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes. You can exercise your rights as a data subject at any time.

On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide us with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

SEARCH ENGINES

So that you can continue to easily find our online shop in the future when you make relevant searches in common search engines, we use tracking measures from search engine providers to optimize our ads. To determine the relevance of an ad, for example, we record which categories the visitor is interested in in the shop and whether an order has been placed. This data is transmitted to the search engine providers in pseudonymized form.

GOOGLE ADWORDS REMARKETING & CONVERSION TRACKING

Our website uses the functions of Google AdWords Remarketing, with which we advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. The provider is Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). For this purpose, Google places a cookie in the browser of your device, which automatically enables interest-based advertising using a pseudonymous cookie ID and based on the pages you visit. The processing is carried out on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a EU GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time under the privacy settings.

Any further data processing will only take place if you have given Google your consent to link your internet and app browsing history to your Google account and to use information from your Google account to personalize ads that you view on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while visiting our website, Google will use your data together with Google Analytics data to create and define target group lists for cross-device remarketing. To do this, Google will temporarily link your personal data to Google Analytics data to create target groups.

This website uses the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, as part of Google AdWords, the conversion tracking of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("Google"). We use the Google Adwords service to draw attention to our attractive offers using advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords) on external websites. We can determine how successful the individual advertising measures are in relation to the data from the advertising campaigns. In doing so, we pursue the interest of showing you advertising that is of interest to you, making our website more interesting for you and achieving a fair calculation of advertising costs.

The cookie for conversion tracking is set when a user clicks on an AdWords ad placed by Google. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer system. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of this website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot therefore be tracked across the websites of AdWords customers. The information obtained using the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.

You can permanently deactivate the setting of cookies for ad settings on Google using the following link: https://adssettings.google.com

Alternatively, you can find out more about the use of cookies and change the settings at the Digital Advertising Alliance at www.aboutads.info. Finally, you can set your browser so that you are informed about the use of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. If you do not accept cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Google LLC may transfer personal data to the USA. However, Google is certified for the US-European data protection agreement "Privacy Shield", which guarantees compliance with the data protection level applicable in the EU.

Further information and the privacy policy regarding advertising and Google can be found here: http://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads/

GENERAL INFORMATION ON HOW COOKIES WORK

Below we describe how cross-device page optimization works. Our websites use so-called cookies in several places. They are designed to make our offering more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.

These cookies enable us to analyze how users use our websites. This allows us to tailor the website content to the needs of visitors. Cookies also enable us to measure the effectiveness of a particular ad and place it based on the user's thematic interests, for example.

The cookies used have an individual user ID. Using certain interfaces, we are able to assign the different user IDs to an individual customer (e.g. when logging into our web shop from a smartphone and a computer) and thus achieve cross-device optimization of our website.

The cookies used have a long lifespan due to the purpose of processing and are automatically deleted after 6 months unless you object or delete the cookies.

Of course, you can also deactivate, restrict or delete cookies on your device manually via your browser settings or with software support.

Please note: If you deactivate the setting of cookies, not all functions of our website may be fully available.

Access data/server log files

Eigensinnig (or its web space provider as Eigensinnig's service provider) collects data about every access to the website (so-called server log files). The access data includes:
Name of the website accessed, file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification of successful access, browser type and version, the user’s operating system, referrer URL (the previously visited page), IP address and the requesting provider.
Eigensinnig uses this access data only for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operating, securing and optimizing the website. However, Eigensinnig reserves the right to subsequently check the log data if there is reasonable suspicion of illegal use based on concrete evidence.

Handling personal data

Personal data is information that can be used to identify a person, i.e. information that can be traced back to a person. This includes, for example, the name, email address or telephone number.
Eigensinnig points out that the personal data that users proactively provide to Eigensinnig - e.g. as part of a registration, order or contact - is stored and only processed by Eigensinnig as part of the contract fulfillment, as well as to improve the offer and for subsequent contact. The data is not passed on to third parties - except to authorities or legal third-party claims for information.

In order to conclude and process a contract with Eigensinnig (i.e. registration and ordering), certain personal data is necessary and must therefore be provided by you.

contact

When the user actively contacts eigensinnig Wien (for example via contact form or e-mail), the user's data and information are stored for the purpose of processing the request and in the event that follow-up questions arise.

Comments and contributions

When users leave comments on the website or other contributions, their IP addresses are stored. This is done for the security of Eigensinnig in case someone writes illegal content in comments and contributions (insults, prohibited political propaganda, etc.). In this case, Eigensinnig itself could be prosecuted for the comment or contribution and therefore there is an overriding legal interest in storing the user IP addresses.

Newsletter

With our newsletter we regularly inform you about us and our offers.
With your consent given when ordering or registering, we will also use your email address and your name for the purpose of sending you newsletters. This data will only be used to send the newsletter and will not be passed on to third parties.
When you register for the newsletter, we also save your IP address and the date of registration. This storage serves solely as evidence in the event that a third party misuses an email address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the authorized person.
You can object to this use of your personal data for newsletters at any time (e.g. by email to sense@eigensinnig-wien.com) or revoke any consent you have already given. You can also revoke your consent via a link in the newsletters themselves, in your profile area or by sending a message to the contact options above. After receiving your revocation, we will immediately stop sending you further newsletters and delete the associated personal data if they are not required for the processing of contracts.

If you forward our newsletters to third parties, you are obliged to comply with the legal provisions and to obtain the prior consent of the recipient. If a third party makes claims against Eigensinnig due to you forwarding a newsletter, you will indemnify and hold Eigensinnig harmless against all related claims, including penalties and legal defense costs.

Integration of third-party services and content

It may happen that third-party content, such as videos from YouTube or Vimeo, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites, are integrated into the website. This always assumes that the content providers behind these services (hereinafter referred to as "third-party providers") perceive the IP address of the user. Without the IP address, the third-party providers could not send the content to the browser of the respective user. The IP address is therefore required to display the content accessed by the user. We endeavor to only use content whose respective third-party providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. However, we have no influence on whether the third-party providers store the IP address, for example for statistical purposes. If we are aware of this, we will inform the users about it.

Use of social plugins

The website uses social plugins ("plugins") of the social networks (collectively "social networks")

facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). These plug-ins can be recognized by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile, the terms "Like" or a "thumbs up" sign) or are marked with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of the Facebook Social Plugins can be viewed here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins ;

twitter.com, which is offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Twitter"). These plugins can be recognized by terms such as "Twitter" or "Follow" combined with a stylized blue bird. The list and appearance of Twitter social plugins can be viewed here: https://about.twitter.com/resources/buttons

instagram.com, which is offered by Instagram, LLC, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA ("Instagram"). This plugin can be recognized by terms such as "Instagram" combined with a stylized camera symbol. The list and appearance of the Instagram social plugin can be viewed here: https://www.instagram.com/developer/embedding/

In the interest of protecting your data as comprehensively as possible, data will not be transferred via social plugins to the respective operator of the social network without your prior consent.

Clicking on the " I agree " button in our banner means that you give your consent to the transmission of your personal data to the respective operator of the social network.
When a user visits a page on the website that contains a plug-in, their browser establishes a direct connection to the social network's servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted directly to your browser by the respective operator of the social network and integrated into the website by it. Eigensinnig therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that the respective operator of the social network collects using this plug-in and therefore informs users according to its current state of knowledge as follows:

To the best of our knowledge, the social networks receive information via their plug-ins about which of our websites you have currently and previously visited. The plug-ins set a cookie with a unique identifier each time you visit the relevant website. This enables the social network to create a profile of your usage behavior. It cannot be ruled out that such a profile can also be assigned to you if you subsequently register for the first time with the social network.

By integrating the plug-ins, the social network receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the website. If the user is logged in to the social network, the operator of the social network can assign the visit to the website to their personal account. When users interact with the plug-ins, for example by pressing the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from their browser to the operator of the social network and stored there. If a user is not a member of a social network, it is still possible that the operator of the social network will find out and store their IP address as well as information about the browser and operating system they use.

Further information on plug-ins, the purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by the operators of the social networks as well as the related rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the following data protection information: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ ; http://twitter.com/privacy.

If a user is a member of a social network and does not want the operator of the social network to collect data about the user when visiting this website and link it to his member data stored on the social network, he should log out of the social network before visiting the website or use appropriate add-ons for the browser used by the user (e.g. "Facebook Blocker"). However, Eigensinnig cannot guarantee the effectiveness of such solutions.
