The life of the philosopher Leontion in ancient Greece has only been vaguely recorded due to poor tradition. What is known is that she was clever, educated and beautiful and intellectually took on powerful men like Cicero or Theophrastus - which was extremely courageous and more than unusual at the time. What one suspects of her: a love affair with the philosopher Epicurus, whose teachings she always defended before others.
These women's trousers with a deep crotch and ample legroom from our in-house atelier are dedicated to this courageous philosopher. They are handmade in our atelier from 100% organic cotton and deliberately irregular in color. This is an unconventional fabric that is pleasantly soft.
