Light silk summer women's blouse with extra long sleeves. Pure Wabi-Sabi aesthetics for the individualist.Simone de Beauvoir was a feminist and existentialist. With Jean-Paul Sartre she lived in an open relationship, later she was with a woman. She loved and needed freedom - our soft, white silk women's blouse bears her name and gives a similar feeling of freedom. It has no collar and hugs the body without constricting - quite the opposite: it feels airy. What makes 'De Beauvoir' an obstinate rarity:The small, discrete buttons that can also be found in a long placket on the cuffsThe extra-long sleevesThe asymmetrical detail seams on the back that are characteristic of eigensinnig wienThe deliberately unhemmed sections that give the blouse a Wabi-Sabi aesteticYou can also find 'De Beauvoir' in different colors and materials. Designer: eigensinnig wienColor: whiteComposition: 100% silkeigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Minimalist, slimfitting women's trousers in 100% ramie linen with special details. Obstinacy that can be combined in a variety of ways. "Reading Joan Didion's writing is like tiptoeing across a frozen pond filled with beautiful sharks. You look down and pray that the ice will hold," wrote a journalist who once interviewed the US journalist and writer. Her precise, detached style runs through all her works - be they articles about American society, texts in Vogue or books about the low blows of her own life ("The Year of Magical Thinking", "Blue Nights").The women's trousers from the in-house atelier named after the journalist are just as precise and subtle: they have a slim cut, minimalist design and asymmetrical detail seams on the back. Special details such as the piped pocket, the three ochre stripes on the pockets and the wave-like cut on the waistband at the back - an allusion to Heraclitus and "Everything flows" - provide the typical obstinacy. The high-quality material is made of 100% organic-looking ramie linen. Two pockets at the front and another at the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Didion' a subtly individualistic creation for all those who appreciate understatement. The avant-garde trousers go perfectly with the jacket 'Sontag', which is made from the same fabric and makes an autumnal ensemble when combined with the trousers. Light linen men's shirt with small collar in black. Special, contradictory and detailed for autumn and winter. 'Gruen' is intended as a tribute to the German-Swiss writer and psychologist Arno Gruen, whose works deal with autonomy, the development of the self, and the contradictions that arise as a result. These contradictions are also evident in the men's shirt named after him. The classic, slim cut is contrasted by the organic structure of the coarse linen. The asymmetrical and open seams on the sleeves, as well as special cuffs with horn buttons convey the playful rigor known for obstinacy. The high-quality linen conveys a lightness for autumn and winter and feels pleasantly on the skin. ‚Gruen' you will also find in linen in other colors and fabrics. Loosely cut men's jacket made of a fine linen with inside pockets and signature seams.Inspired by the works of Le Corbusier, one of the greatest architects of the 20th century, the men's jacket is named after him. The Swiss-French architect was a representative of Modernism and as such an advocate of principles such as "Less is more" and "Form follows function". This orientation links him to our avant-garde men's jacket in anthracite, which is designed to be reduced to the essentials and yet - due to the way it is cut - ,Eigensinn' and subtly accentuates the character of the wearer. Avant-garde linen T-shirt in snow white. Wabi-sabi aesthetic for summer individualists.   The economist Richard Thaler has researched how to trigger smart decisions. He called this kind of positive influence nudging, for which he is now world famous. The snow-white, lightweight T-shirt from the company's own studio is dedicated to him. With hem deliberately left open for a touch of wabi-sabi and special asymmetrical detail stitching found in most of our in-house creations. A rare, summery light unique piece made of 100% cotton. Minimalist, slim men's trousers in 100% ramie linen with special details. Obstinacy that can be combined in a variety of ways. The German architect Walter Gropius founded the Bauhaus, the famous art school that brought together art and craft and is considered a home for the avant-garde of classical modernism. To this day, the Bauhaus is influential for modernist currents. The men's trousers named after the architect from the in-house atelier are just as modernist: they are slim-fitting and minimalist in design. Special details such as the horn buttons, the piped pocket, the three ochre stripes on the side pockets and the wave-like cut on the back waistband - an allusion to Heraclitus and "Everything flows" - provide the typical obstinacy. The high-quality material is made of 100% organic-looking ramie linen. Two pockets at the front and another at the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Gropius' a subtly individualistic creation for all those who appreciate understatement.Combined with the 'Mises' men's jacket, the 'Fichte' men's jacket or the 'Eribon' coat, the men's trousers become an autumnal ensemble. Somewhat more unconventional models in the same fabric are the 'Kafka', 'Meinong' or 'Epikur' trousers.Brand: eigensinnig wienMaterial: 100% ramie linenColor: anthracite eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Men's pullover for autumn and winter that makes deconstruction visible and resolves contradictions of round and square, soft and "raw" in an obstinate way. The French philosopher Jacques Derrida founded the method of deconstruction, in which texts are critically scrutinised and disassembled in order to arrive at their essence (which may well be contradictory!), in the 1960s. An experimental approach of disassembling and reassembling is also the method we like to use in our own collections. Contradictions often dissolve into harmony. This is also the case with the 'Derrida' jumper: the asymmetrical seams and frayed, open hems make deconstruction visible. The light viscose-wool blend looks organic, reminiscent of stones and barren landscapes. The collar is special with its 90-degree angle, which brings round and square together in an idiosyncratic way. As with most of the new in-house creations, 'Derrida' also has the three stripes in ochre at the sleeve ends. All this makes the men's jumper an unconventional creation with a lot of thought and questions.Brand: eigensinnig wienMaterial: 43% viscose, 39% wool, 17% polyamide, 1% spandexColor: darkgrey eigensinnig wien: Special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Classic men's trousers with slim leg and special detail stitching. A timelessly elegant model made of a special fabric with metallic fibers by Faliero Sarti. The U.S. economist and sociologist Thorstein Veblen (1857-1929) became famous with his "Theory of Fine People" - the Veblen Effect, also known as the Snob Effect, is named after him, describing the paradoxical phenomenon of rising demand with rising prices observed in the "fine social classes".Our classic men's trousers in sand, named after the economist, are a different kind of fine: 'Veblen' looks elegant and unconventional at the same time thanks to the narrow leg and the unusual detailed seam at the bottom. The trousers can be rolled up and go with a wide variety of tops. An idiosyncratic fashion piece for men that shows character not least because of the fabric: it comes from the Italian fabric manufacturer Faliero Sarti and is a unique mix of cotton, ramie and metallic fibers. Loose-fitting blouse with special details. Lightness with an organic look and raw elegance for spring and summer.Diotima is a character in one of Plato’s dialogues, in which the members of a party discuss Eros (i.e. love). This high priestess’s ideas in the dialogue are the origin of the concept of Platonic love. She is a seer, she is sage, and she is the only female character in Plato’s dialogues. To this wise woman, who will not let herself be guided by lust, we dedicate this blouse made of light, black bamboo. It is loose-fitting, but not oversized – something in between. In the back it is slightly longer than in the front. The pleat at the back provides a feeling of freedom. An obstinate detail, the embroidery on the front is reminiscent of branches and provides our obstinate blouse, whose double-stitched collar is hinted at rather than pronounced, with a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Other details contributing to this look are the asymmetrical sleeve vent with open seams and the subtle black horn buttons. Women’s low-crotch trousers made of light, linen-like ramie. An elegantly raw, obstinate reinterpretation of pleated trousers. The life of philosopher Leontion in ancient Greece has only been vaguely recorded. What we know is: She was smart, educated and beautiful and started intellectual arguments with powerful men such as Cicero and Theophrastus – something that was extremely courageous and highly unusual at the time. What is suspected of her: a love affair with philosopher Epicurus, whose teachings she always defended in front of others. Our women’s trousers with a low crotch and ample legroom from our own workshop are dedicated to this courageous philosopher. They are handmade from ramie, also called China grass. It is a linen-like fabric obtained from the stem of the ramie plant, a bast fiber. The typical characteristics of this fabric are its subtle, silky sheen – and its great lightness. These women’s trousers feature a variety of obstinate details:The inverted pleats: They are turned inward, not outward. The wide waistband: It can also be worn with wide belts. The concealed button placket with discreet, natural-looking horn buttonsThe ocher yellow seam bindings on the inside of the trousers, which become visible when you roll up the trouser legsThe asymmetrical detail seams on the trouser legsThe two side pockets with the three-line detail. ‘Leontion’ perfectly matches the women’s jacket ‘Voltaire’ and the vest ‘Heller’, which are all made of the same fabric and, when combined with the light trousers, turn into an estival avant-garde ensemble.Brand: eigensinnig wien Material: 100% Ramie Color: black   eigensinnig wien: Spezielle Avantgarde-Mode für Damen und Herren. Avant-garde men's shirt made of particularly pleasant, soft cotton. The noble structure of the fabric has an unusual and unique effect. Jerry', the black men's shirt from Munich-based avant-garde tailor Hannibal, hugs the body and yet stands on its own in its stubbornness. Functional details prefer to hide here rather than show themselves: for example, the button bands on the front and on the cuffs are hidden behind the soft cotton fabric, which has a particularly noble and obstinate surface. The shirt was made by hand and processed with great care. It stands for obstinacy and individuality and gives the wearer something full of character in a restrained way.   Brand: Hannibal CollectionColor: blackMaterial: 100% cotton eigensinnig wien presents: Hannibal Collection – Special men's fashion from Munich.
