You look down and pray that the ice will hold," wrote a journalist who once interviewed the US journalist and writer. Her precise, detached style runs through all her works - be they articles about American society, texts in Vogue or books about the low blows of her own life ("The Year of Magical Thinking", "Blue Nights").

The women's trousers from the in-house atelier named after the journalist are just as precise and subtle: they have a slim cut, minimalist design and asymmetrical detail seams on the back. Special details such as the piped pocket, the three ochre stripes on the pockets and the wave-like cut on the waistband at the back - an allusion to Heraklit and "Everything flows" - provide the typical obstinacy. The high-quality material is made of very soft and light cotton. Two pockets at the front and another at the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Didion' a subtly individualistic creation for all those who appreciate understatement.
