Women's asymmetrical blouse with diagonal seam on the back. Elegant-extraordinary creation for unconventional individualists.

The sarcastic, provocative style, which is also readily described as obscene, blasphemous, vulgar and mocking, is the trademark of the Austrian winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Elfriede Jelinek, who never tires of exposing "the absurdity and compelling power of social clichés". She does this with a power of language that will not find its equal.

The creation from the in-house atelier named after the great writer is a tribute to her: an asymmetrically cut avant-garde blouse with a semi-concealed button placket made of precious horn buttons, which are also found on the cuffs. One side is longer than the other; the open finishes give the creation a wabi-sabi aesthetic. The material of the blouse is also special: it is a viscose-cotton mix, a particularly soft and comfortable material. Just as original thinking needs freedom, the blouse also gives enough freedom. All this makes Jelinek an extraordinary obstinacy for individualists who like to think in unusual directions.

Together with the slim trousers 'Didion' or 'Bachmann', 'Jelinek' becomes a particularly obstinate creation for spring and summer.
The blouse is also available in a noble rayon viscose mix.

Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
