Elegant raw men's jacket made of the finest linen. Versatile companion for individualists in everyday life and on special occasions.
"Our world is the best of all possible worlds, it has a maximum richness of moments and in this sense the greatest possible diversity." - this is how the German philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz described the optimal world view, which is constantly subject to change. Experimentation and continuous development are also characteristics of our creations and are reflected in the men's jacket 'Leibniz'.This minimalist men's companion has been crafted from lightweight linen and can be worn in a variety of ways. Combined with a classic shirt and slim-fit trousers, this unusual jacket makes an elegant suit for formal occasions. However, it can also be worn casually in leisure time with rolled-up sleeves with a plain T-shirt or sweater. Unconventional individualists can also dare the bold style break and choose a pair of shorts with light summer boots. The unconventional jacket is reduced to the essentials and yet radiates obstinacy. It is a rarity for everyday wear as well as for special occasions, and its subtle details such as the asymmetrical sleeve slit at the cuff or the fine horn buttons unobtrusively bring out the obstinate character of the wearer. An extravagant model that can be worn especially in spring and summer due to its light material, but also in the cold season under a coat.Special features of the men's jacket:asymmetrical sleeve slit at the cuff2 side pockets, 1 outer breast pocket and 2 inner pockets for carrying personal belongingsclosable with two horn buttonslight linen rayon mix for spring and summer.
'Leibniz' becomes an unconventional ensemble when combined with modern pleated pants 'Meinong'. Nonconformist men's zipper jacket with obstinate zippers on the sleeve and short stand-up collar. Handmade from coated cotton.
Theodor W. Adorno, the philosopher and composer, was the founder of the "Frankfurt School," considered the most influential school of thought in German philosophy. Herbert Marcuse, Walter Benjamin and Erich Fromm were also part of this Enlightenment movement. Adorno was very much into non-conformist thinking - and the men's jacket named after him is just as non-conformist. It is made of a special coated cotton that has slight irregularities and develops an individual patina over time, giving it even more obstinacy. 'Adorno' is cut straight, but still has a complex character that shows in the details:- the zipper on the sleeves running parallel to the waistband- the short stand-up collar- material and coloring that change in a natural process when worn- the cotton lining with two inside pockets for smaller items

"Meeting a person means experiencing him or her as another, discovering him or her, respecting him or her.For the other is unique and unmistakable." - According to this philosophy lived the author Emmanuel Levinas, who always looked at art and aesthetics from a critical angle. As unique and unmistakable as the person is also the short and elegant trousers "Levinas", which can be perfectly combined with sneakers and sandals in the summer. But also black boots can be easily worn with this asymmetrical and unconventional model. The loose but sturdy linen fabric provides a comfortable feel and ends already at knee height. Gentlemen who follow an extraordinary lifestyle can roll up the trouser legs a bit if necessary to give "Levinas" more brevity.
The creation also took into account several loops that make it possible to wear belts and create more space for individual tastes of fashion-conscious gentlemen. Men's low crotch trousers in black, soft cotton. An elegant-raw, obstinate reinterpretation of the pleated trousers.
These pants are dedicated to the Greek philosopher Epikur. Epikur, who throughout his life was devoted to physics, logic and ethics, always aimed to increase the joy of life through the enjoyment of each day and moment. This joie de vivre is also to be conveyed by the men's trousers with the deep crotch and the large legroom from the in-house atelier. They are hand-dyed and deliberately irregular in color. This is a very light and soft fabric that is comfortable to wear.
These men's pants are full of quirky details:The inverted pleats: They go inward, not outward.the concealed button placket with the discreet, natural horn buttonsthe ocher yellow seam edgings inside the trousers, which become visible when you roll up the trouser legsthe asymmetrical detail seams on the trouser legsthe two side pockets with the detail of the three lines
If man wants it a little more classic, "Epikur" with the men's jacket "Fichte" and the gilet "Merleau-Ponty" becomes an autumnal-avant-garde three-piece.

Minimalist, straight-cut men's trousers made of 100% black, soft cotton with special details. Subtly obstinate one-of-a-kind for individualists.
Alexius Meinong was an Austrian philosopher and psychologist as well as the founder of object theory. For him, objects as such - "pure" objects - are "extrasensory": they can be or not be, because object for him is everything that the mind can grasp - real, unreal, possible, impossible. The association with the sense of possibility according to Robert Musil is not far away.
We have dedicated the eponymous trousers from our in-house atelier to this thinker: they are straight at the leg, minimalist in design and ideal for men with strong upper and lower legs. The typical obstinacy is provided by special details such as the fabric edges as pocket ends, the implied "tear" on the back of the right leg as well as the three ocher stripes on the side pockets and the wave-like cut on the waistband of the back - an allusion to Heraclitus and "everything flows". The soft material, which is hand-dyed in our studio and deliberately The soft material, which is hand-dyed in our studio and deliberately irregular in its coloring, is 100% organic cotton. Two pockets in the front and another one on the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Meinong' a subtly individualistic creation for those who appreciate understatement. Personal recommendation: Combine 'Meinong' with the men's jacket 'Mises' jacket and 'Fichte' jacket. Other models in the same fabric are the 'Kafka', 'Gropius' or 'Epikur' trousers.

Light and long pullover made of bamboo in white with subtle details that creatively embodies the wabi-sabi aesthetic. A fashionable creation against perfection and an advocate for the imperfection of all things.
"Nothing that exists is without imperfections" - This is how Leonard Koren described the existential things of our world from the point of view of Wabi-Sabi aesthetics. All things including the universe are thereby themselves in an uninterrupted, never-ending state of becoming and passing away. The writer H.C. Artmann also broke away from perfection in his work. He freed the dialect from nationalistic appropriation and showed how contemplative folk language can be. This imperfection of all things is also reflected in the obstinate women's pullover with a slim cut named after him. The special creation impresses with a particularly light, soft and natural material. The round neckline has a small slit from which a seam emerges. This runs diagonally along the chest and gives the noble garment an asymmetrical look. The hem of "Artmann" was designed just as exceptional, which is characterized by 2 large uneven slits.
Another imperfection is found on the back of the garment, which has a slightly asymmetrical seam across and lengthwise, as well as the following other details:Transverse slanted seam, which can be seen as a metaphor for life, which also does not always run in a straight lineTowards the seam there are slightly asymmetrical sleeve endsThe hem on the back is also slightly asymmetricalThe front of the pullover is slightly shorter than the backCombined with the black trousers "Châtelet", the blazer "Christie" in black and the special tie "Dreyfus" you get an unconventional ensemble for days in spring and summer.

Avant-garde cotton T-shirt for men and women in black. Wabi sabi aesthetic for spring and summer.
"All women ought to strew flowers together on Aphra Behn's grave...for it was she who first won for them the right to say what they think," wrote novelist Virginia Woolf of British writer and feminist Aphra Behn, who was also a spy - an uncommon combination.
Also unique is the black, light T-shirt from our in-house atelier, dedicated to this special woman. With a hem deliberately left open for a touch of wabi-sabi and special, asymmetrical detail seams found in most of our own creations. A rare, light piece in soft cotton for spring and summer.
