Loose-fitting blouse with special details. Lightness with an organic look and raw elegance for spring and summer.

Diotima is a character in one of Plato’s dialogues, in which the members of a party discuss Eros (i.e. love). This high priestess’s ideas in the dialogue are the origin of the concept of Platonic love. She is a seer, she is sage, and she is the only female character in Plato’s dialogues.

To this wise woman, who will not let herself be guided by lust, we dedicate this blouse made of light, white linen. It is loose-fitting, but not oversized – something in between. In the back it is slightly longer than in the front. The pleat at the back provides a feeling of freedom. An obstinate detail, the embroidery on the front is reminiscent of branches and provides our obstinate blouse, whose double-stitched collar is hinted at rather than pronounced, with a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Other details contributing to this look are the asymmetrical sleeve vent with open seams and the subtle black horn buttons.

We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
