Loosely cut men's jacket made of a fine viscose-linen mix with inside pockets and signature seams.
Inspired by the works of Le Corbusier, one of the greatest architects of the 20th century, the men's jacket is named after him. The Swiss-French architect was a representative of Modernism and as such an advocate of principles such as "Less is more" and "Form follows function". This orientation links him to our avant-garde men's jacket in black, which is designed to be reduced to the essentials and yet - due to the way it is cut - ,Eigensinn' and subtly accentuates the character of the wearer. A rarity for everyday use and special occasions.
The black avant-garde men's jacket ,Corbusier' has:
the asymmetrical seams on the back, typical of ,eigensinnig wien'
two large inside pockets for Smartphone, wallet & Co.
a subdued, understated collar with small lapel
sharp, cut edges on the lower part
In combination with the trousers ‚Veblen‘ or ‚Montesquieue‘, 'Corbusier' becomes a unique suit - under which one can also wear shirts, T-shirts or jumpers.
eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.
Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
