Unique light women's zipper jacket from linen in blue
Slim-fitting, light jacket with ,eigensinnig' zips and high collar. Handmade from Belgian coarse linen in blue.
Émile Zola was a French writer, painter and journalist. He founded Naturalism - the literary movement that required a close observation of society and nature in order to present current issues as accurately as possible.
The jacket 'Zola' by ,eigensinnig wien' is also inspired by nature: the blue fabric made of 100% linen feels light and wild and has those small knots that are characteristic of linen and give it structure.
The following details make 'Zola' ,eigensinnig':
an unusual combination of robust zip fasteners: On the front, on the cuffs and unconventionally diagonally on the back
a high stand-up collar which rests flat when the jacket is worn open
2 large pockets for Smartphone, wallet & Co.
the asymmetrical detailed seams on the back, which are characteristic of ,eigensinnig wien'
eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.
Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
