With "Madame Bovary" and "L'Education Sentimentale," the French novelist Gustave Flaubert ushered in a new era of the European novel. In these works, he dispenses with pathos and melodrama in favor of an objectified realism and presents life as what it actually is most of the time: a tough and sluggish river whose fascination lies in precisely this monotony.

Similarly unagitated yet sophisticated is the black and white pullover from the in-house atelier, which can be worn by all genders. The sophistication of the slim-fitting, versatile light made from a soft yet warming wool-cotton blend is revealed to the viewer only at second glance, when the details start to come into their own.

The special collar with slightly frayed, wabi-sabi seams can be closed via a button made of high-quality, delicate horn, thereby transforming the obstinacy into an unconventional turtleneck pullover.
With the buttons closed, 'Flaubert' becomes a warming companion and begs protection from cold wind on icy winter days.
The sleeves and the waistband close unexcitingly straight.
In combination with the black pants 'Didion' or 'Feyerabend' made of wool, 'Flaubert' becomes an unconventional, casual ensemble for leisure and work. For special occasions, the special pullover can be worn by men with the obstinate and black trousers 'Goethe' or 'Montesquieu'.

We merge unconventional designs with handcrafted perfection in the tradition of sartorial tailoring. All styles are created in our in-house studio above the showroom in Vienna and handmade by a small, traditional manufacturer in Slovenia. The clothes for men and women, some of which are extravagant, are sometimes elegant, sometimes casual, sometimes with a slim fit silhouette, sometimes with wide cuts. And much more. We also make extraordinary fashion for plus sizes and large sizes for men and women. We believe that avant-garde clothing should not only be the preserve of normal sizes. In our in-house tailor shop, we are specialised in made to measure clothing according to your wishes for the every day or special occasions such as weddings, special appearances and much more.
