Avant-garde harem trousers with very low crotch and slim trouser leg. An exceptional rarity for men and women alike.

A tribute to Montesquieu, the French philosopher of the Enlightenment, this idiosyncratic interpretation of the harem or tattered trousers can be worn by both men and women. It has a very low crotch and a slim trouser leg. Montesquieu' is made of a particularly high-quality and warming wool. Two side pockets in the front and two small, hidden, exceptionally positioned pockets on the back also provide space for larger and smaller small items.

Men like to combine the harem trousers with the jacket 'Roquentin' or the coat 'Comte', also in black. For women, the asymmetrical jacket 'Camus' creates an avant-garde ensemble for fall and winter.

Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
