Extraordinary cap made of burnt wool in black-brown. A handmade rarity for obstinate heads of any gender.

At first glance, you may wonder why this original headwear bears the name Classico, because in its unconventional shape and color scheme it looks rather flashy and not very "classic". But on second glance, you can see the motivation of the Italian hatmaker for the choice of name: the functionality of his work, which lies, for example, in the protection against too strong sunlight.
The Classico impresses with its curved shape and unique lines, which look perfect. The slightly upward curved umbrella provides sufficient protection for eyes and face in different weather conditions.
This handmade unique piece gets its individual coloring from the use of 100% black-brown wool, which is burned in a special manufacturing process developed by Reinhard Plank himself. The practical cap, which fits snugly to the head, was created for stubborn ladies and gentlemen.

Behind the avant-garde hat creations is South Tyrolean-born Reinhard Plank, who studied industrial design at the Angewandte in Vienna and has been putting an unconventional finishing touch on headwear in his studio since 2005.
The extraordinary hats are handmade near Florence, making each artifact unique in its own right. One of his most unusual manufacturing processes is burning the wool, which gives each model its own unique coloration.
His original collections look playful, minimalist and provocative at the same time. But Plank never loses sight of what is essential: the people for whom he creates. The central question is always how the individual deals with the concept of personal space: does the individual want to remain discreetly in the background or show himself rather extravagantly. Plank's craftsmanship, design and art are oriented to this.
