Asymmetrically cut avant-garde men's cotton shirt with open hem and adjustable collar. Unconventional, individualistic, unique.

Ludwig Wittgenstein was considered one of the most important philosophers of the 20th century. He feared that institutionalised thinking would drive him mad - which is why he was a refuser of education. Thus his thinking remained free.

This freedom is also conveyed by the men's shirt named after him: the fabric from which it was handmade - cotton - is smooth, supple, breathable and light.

Details make the shirt 'Wittgenstein' unique and unusual:

the open seam gives the shirt a Wabi-Sabi aesthetic
the unconventional collar can be worn open or closed as a stand-up collar - in the second case even in two variations
the asymmetrical detail seams on the back, typical for ,eigensinnig wien'

Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
