Unconventional women's top with waterfall neckline at the front and stand-up collar at the back in subtle black. An obstinacy made of flowing material that "quietly shimmers", as Hermann Hesse would describe it.
Be yourself - Hermann Hesse proposes this ideal law to youth in his work Eigensinn macht Spaß. The avant-garde blouse named after him with an unconventional combination of waterfall neckline in the front and standing collar in the neck reflects Hesse's law of obstinacy in an inimitable way.
Asymmetrical French seams in black underline the playful style of the airy cut top, which nevertheless emphasizes the waist and can be worn for any occasion. "...And even if the whole world were against it," says Hesse about self-fulfillment, and it is precisely this obstinacy that the légere top in black brings with it, whose fine details only reveal themselves at second glance:
- Touchable, flowing fabric with a light structure and a graceful night shimmer
Slightly frayed, French seams that always meet only almost symmetrically in a very quilting-wool fashion
A straight hem with clean edges contrasts with the slightly staggered seams
A subtle wave has been incorporated at the end of the open sleeve hem. Black decorative stitching serves as a small visual highlight that hints at the complexity of top and wearer
On either side of the hem, a neatly finished slit provides more freedom of movement to keep the free-spirited design feeling airy and casual.
As with any obstinately unique piece, emblems are discreetly placed on this top with three ochre-colored bars
- In combination with the avant-garde trousers 'Averroes' an unconventional ensemble for special occasions is created.

eigensinnig wien: Special avant-garde fashion for men and women.
Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
