Inspiration: Félicien Rops – “Satan Sowing Tares”

“Ivraie” is inspired by Félicien Rops and his work “Satan Sowing Tares.” The French word “ivraie” refers to darnel – a grass that grows among grain and can closely resemble it. This ambiguity between similarity and deviation finds a textile expression in the design.

The clear foundation of the dress gains its distinctive character through the asymmetrical hem, convertible scarf, and variable proportions. Material, movement, and personal styling shape the expression of this black designer dress. The silhouette moves between clean form, dark elegance, and sculptural presence.

Cut & Silhouette: Straight Shape with an Asymmetrical Hem
