We associate the poncho mainly with the campesinos, the rural population of Latin America, especially Mexico. In American film classics such as "The good, the bad and the ugly" by Sergio Leone, the poncho becomes a symbol of justice and freedom through the actor Clint Eastwood. The black poncho creation from the Forme d'Expression atelier, made of soft cotton and cashmere, takes inspiration from these role models, but is deliberately not aimed at a male audience, but at women with self-confidence. The poncho convinces with its wide and long cut shape, which wraps the whole body like a blanket. Thus, a high wearing comfort is given. This extraordinary poncho can be worn indoors as well as outdoors. It is ideal for autumn and winter and impresses with its wave-like structure. The soft fabric is frayed at the edges and has asymmetrical lines that deliberately seeks beauty in the imperfect. Koeun Park is behind the avant-garde label Forme D'Expression. Born in Seoul and living in Italy, the designer studied in Paris and Milan, designed for Armani and Donna Karan, among others, and now creates designs that are reduced to the essentials and at the same time strict and playful. Her focus is on slow, careful production, which includes many revisions and is intended to make the garment in question familiar to the wearer before he or she even touches it. The unique pieces created by Koeun Park are only available in our showroom and online store throughout Vienna.
