Unconventional avant-garde women's trousers made of 100% soft cotton with special details. Rarity for individualists.

Émilie du Châtelet was an extraordinary intellectual in 18th century France: she was a mathematician, physicist, philosopher and - together with her lover Voltaire - translator of Newton's works. Allegedly, she even wrote Newtonian theories during the birth of her daughter (!), from which she ultimately died.

The women's trousers named after her from the company's own atelier are just as unusual: they have a slightly wider cut, two small pleats on the front and diagonally running detail seams. Other idiosyncratic details include the fabric edges as pocket ends, the three ochre stripes on the pockets and the wave-like cut on the waistband of the back, which can be interpreted as a reference to Heraclitus and "everything flows". The soft material, which is hand-dyed in our studio and deliberately irregular in its coloring, is made of 100% organic cotton. Two pockets in the front and another one on the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Châtelet ' an unconventional creation for individualists.

The avant-garde trousers go perfectly with the 'Heller' gilet, which is made of the same fabric and creates an unique ensemble in combination with the trousers.

Is delivery of "made-to-order" products free?

The delivery terms for "made-to-order" products match standard delivery conditions: free from a certain order value, depending on your delivery region:

Austria, Germany, Switzerland: Deliveries in Austria, as well as to Germany and Switzerland are free of charge from an order value of 150 euros. Below an order value of 150 euros we charge 10 euros. Collection from the showroom is always free of charge.

Europe: Deliveries in Europe are free from an order value of 250 euros. Below an order value of 250 euros we charge 15 euros.

North America: Deliveries to North America are free from an order value of 300 euros. Below an order value of 300 euros we charge 20 euros.

Asia, Australia: Deliveries to Asia and Australia are free from an order value of 400 euros. Below an order value of 400 euros we charge 30 euros.
