Unconventional men's trousers with asymmetrical lines and purist design from finest cotton in black. A sensual homage to the critical author and philosopher Levinas.

“Artworks are illegitimate subreptions” – those were the words French-Lithuanian philosopher Emmanuel Levinas used in his works to criticize aesthetics. The central idea is making a person’s very own character visible, something that should happen during each encounter.

This is also reflected in our pants "Levinas" with the slightly low crotch which creates a playful strictness. The soft and flowing cotton fabric provides a pleasant looseness when worn. The offset trouser closure creates a pleat at the waistband and hip, which ensures a casual and comfortable fall of the pant leg. The exceptional model in the color black has a diagonal button placket at the front and loops that allow it to be worn with various belts.

Individual men who want to dare to break with a straight-line aesthetic will also like the asymmetrical seam that runs diagonally below the waistband at the front and continues on the back above the back pocket. The extravagant trousers for the mild and warm season are rounded off by several side pockets and one on the back.

We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
