Avant-garde kimono blouse in Wabi-Sabi aesthetic with wide sleeves. A rarity made of light and airy fabric.

Dedicated to the French philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, in whose major work "Being and Nothingness" he addresses existentialist questions, this blouse simply makes existence a little better. It is not constricting, its wide sleeves are inspired by the Japanese kimono and the fabric - tencel - is smooth, sleek, light and breathable. 

  • The asymmetrical detail seams on the back that are characteristic of eigensinnig wien
  • A button placket of small, subtle buttons to the center
  • Deliberately frayed, open edges in a Wabi-Sabi aesthetic
  • The slightly longer back part

We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
