The long dress for summer turns the body into an extraordinary canvas. It covers the confident woman light and airy and shows a large-scale bright pattern of grey linen. Emphasizing imperfection in every way, the design represents the beauty of the raw, unaffected. A simple cut covers with the light material gently and weightlessly, like a breath of nothing. The pleasant fabric floats around the body like the air around it, combining to create an original work of art.

Expressive is the unconventional pattern, reminiscent of cobwebs or wafts of mist, but remains uncertain, transparent-fluttering the material. Light and dark enter into a special connection, gloominess meets fresh accents. The linen was deliberately woven loose, uneven and full of holes, in order to break conventions and to stage the aesthetics of the unfinished. Skin shimmers through the fabric or shows off what makes a successful marriage with the dress. Dress with it poetic, delicate and rough. Because all contradictions are suspended.

Calabrian designer Claudio Cutuli comes from an old family of dyers and weavers, so his designs combine traditional craftsmanship with unconventional ideas. The extraordinary aesthetics of the natural materials cotton and linen is shown in a noticeably coarse structure. The rather muted colors gently ground the striking, irregular patterns. In well-known wabi-sabi tradition, the deliberately frayed seams reflect the beauty of incomplete and imperfect things. All unique pieces have an artistic beauty, they gently cover, artfully veil or emphasize the obstinate character of the self-confident wearer.
The manufactory is based in picturesque Umbria and is run by Claudio Cutuli and his wife.
