Exceptional avant-garde jacket for women made of 100% black soft cotton. A minimalistic and individualistic creation for women individualists.

Susan Sontag was a fierce critic of the US government and a tireless campaigner for human rights. The American writer, essayist, publicist and director is best known for her art- and culture-critical essays on photography, which she sees as an "act of non-interference".

A tribute to the intellectual is the avant-garde women's jacket for spring and summer named after her. It is handmade from soft cotton in our atelier, which has something organic about it thanks to the irregularity in its coloring. The short, discreet stand-up collar, concealed button placket, and asymmetrical detail seams give the women's jacket an obstinately sophisticated look. The sharp, cut-off edges at the cuffs, where the detail of the three ochre stripes can also be found, give it a certain uncompromising look. Two large inside pockets offer space for smartphone, wallet and other things that you like to carry with you.

The 'Châtelet' and 'Leontion' trousers as well as the gilet 'Heller' or the 'Voltaire' jacket in the same fabric make 'Sontag' an exceptional ensemble for individualists.

We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
