Minimalist men's trousers with lowered crotch made of 100% linen with individual fabric dyeing. For free thinkers who fit only when it suits them.

"Have courage to use your own mind," is one of the oft-quoted phrases of Immanuel Kant, the German philosopher of the Enlightenment. He is an advocate of free thinking and believes that people should take responsibility for their actions.

The men's trousers named after him are also a creation for free thinkers. The lowered crotch and loose fit create a feeling of freedom. The fabric is 100% linen, which we have specially dyed in our studio. This makes each piece look a little different, a real one-of-a-kind. Also the diagonal detail seam and a small pocket on the back make the pants a true rarity for the individualist.

Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
