Noble women's blouse without collar in light wool in grey
Loose-fitting blouse with special details. A flowing lightness with a playful severity for autumn and winter.
Diotima is a character in one of Plato's dialogues that deals with Eros. Basically, the idea of Platonic love goes back to her, who is also a high priestess. She is a seer, she is wise, and remains the only female character in Plato's dialogues.
The blouse, made of an unusual, flowing wool-viscose blend, is dedicated to this wise woman who does not allow herself to be steered before her desire. It is wide but not oversized - an in-between. It is slightly longer at the back than at the front. The pleatat the back gives a feeling of freedom. A quirky detail is the double-stitched collar, which is actually just an implied one, giving the blouse a wabi-sabi aesthetic. The asymmetric sleeve slit withthe open seams also contribute.
eigensinnig wien: Special avant-garde fashion for men and women.
Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
