Light men's shirt in a viscose-wool blend with a small collar in grey. Special, contradictory and detailed for autumn and winter.

'Gruen' sees itself as a homage to the German-Swiss writer and psychologist Arno Gruen, whose works deal with autonomy, the development of the self and the contradictions that arise as a result.

These contradictions are also evident in the men's shirt named after him. The classic, narrow cut is contrasted by the organic structure of viscose and wool. The asymmetrical and open seams on the sleeves, as well as special cuffs with buttons made of antique silver, convey the playful austerity known for obstinacy.

The high quality fabric gives a cosy feeling for autumn and winter and nestles comfortably against the skin.

Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. We design our collections in an experimental process, enriching them with thoughts and ideas from the fields of philosophy, art and literature or drawing inspiration from philosophy, art and literature. That is why our trousers and jackets, blouses and dresses bear the names of philosophers, literary figures and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry."
