Avant-garde linen summer coat with hood in anthracite
Asymmetrically cut avant-garde linen coat with hood and lots of ,Eigensinn'. A unique piece with character.
Auguste Comte, the French philosopher, is the founder of positivism and sociology. He declared war on superstition; he wanted everything scientific, empirical and comprehensible. He himself was considered rebellious.
There is a little bit of rebellion in our avant-garde coat 'Comte' which is named after him. The asymmetrically cut coat with the hood is a showpiece of ,Eigensinn', but there is also something scientific about it. A handmade rarity for the non-conformist - because it is also suitable for women.
It's details make it very special:
the discreet button closure
the unexpected hood
the diagonally running back seam and the laterally offset slit at the back, reminiscent of a parka
,Comte' is available in linen in different colours (black and dark blue). But it also exists in a version in light wool by Faliero Sarti in black, interspersed with a light check pattern in anthracite.
eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.
For our avant-garde fashion label ‚eigensinnig wien’ we manufacture one of a kind fashion pieces for the ‚eigensinnig‘, creative, lateral thinkers and visionaries. Our collections take shape through an experimental process and and are enriched with thoughts from philosophy, art and literature or are inspired by them. This is why our trousers, jackets, blouses and dresses also bear the names of philosophers, writers and sociologists. We work with materials from nature, which we bring together to form a whole by using asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetics are based on the Japanese Wabi-Sabi concept: "Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry“.
