Classic men's trousers with slim leg and special detail seams. Special men's trousers for everyday use and special occasions at the same time. Timelessly elegant. The American economist and sociologist Thorstein Veblen (1857-1929) became famous with his "Theory of the Fine People" - the Veblen Effect is named after him, which also called the Snob Effect and describes the paradoxical phenomenon of increasing demand with rising prices observed in the "fine social classes". Our classic men's trousers in black, named after the economist, have a different subtlety: 'Veblen' looks elegant and unconventional at the same time due to the narrow leg and the unusual detail seam on the back side. The thin material made of viscose and linen feels soft on the leg, but at the same time fits as loosely as the sophisticated cut allows. The trousers can be rolled up and fit a wide variety of tops. A unique fashion statement for men.,Veblen' can be worn as an avante-garde suit when combined with the 'Corbusier' jacket or the 'Comte' coat. Light silk summer women's blouse with extra long sleeves. Pure Wabi-Sabi aesthetics for the individualist.Simone de Beauvoir was a feminist and existentialist. With Jean-Paul Sartre she lived in an open relationship, later she was with a woman. She loved and needed freedom - our soft, white silk women's blouse bears her name and gives a similar feeling of freedom. It has no collar and hugs the body without constricting - quite the opposite: it feels airy. What makes 'De Beauvoir' an obstinate rarity:The small, discrete buttons that can also be found in a long placket on the cuffsThe extra-long sleevesThe asymmetrical detail seams on the back that are characteristic of eigensinnig wienThe deliberately unhemmed sections that give the blouse a Wabi-Sabi aesteticYou can also find 'De Beauvoir' in different colors and materials. Designer: eigensinnig wienColor: whiteComposition: 100% silkeigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Playfully elegant, long women's blouse with special collar. Pure individualism for freedom lovers. "What a glorious life I've had! I only wish I had noticed it sooner," is one of the charming phrases attributed to the French writer, vaudevillian and journalist Sidonie-Gabrielle Claudine Colette, who acted only under her surname. We have dedicated this long women's blouse from our own studio to her. There are a lot of obstinate things here: there is the special, wave-shaped collar; there are the diagonal, open seams on the front; there are the elegant cuffs without buttons and the side slits for freedom of movement. The material of the blouse is also special: it is 100% rayon, a type of viscose made from wood- or cotton-based cellulose. The fabric has a subtle structure and glitters very subtly - as if the sun were playing with the fibres. All this makes 'Colette' a playfully elegant, individualistic creation for autumn and winter. Minimalist, slim men's trousers in 100% ramie linen with special details. Obstinacy that can be combined in a variety of ways. The German architect Walter Gropius founded the Bauhaus, the famous art school that brought together art and craft and is considered a home for the avant-garde of classical modernism. To this day, the Bauhaus is influential for modernist currents. The men's trousers named after the architect from the in-house atelier are just as modernist: they are slim-fitting and minimalist in design. Special details such as the horn buttons, the piped pocket, the three ochre stripes on the side pockets and the wave-like cut on the back waistband - an allusion to Heraclitus and "Everything flows" - provide the typical obstinacy. The high-quality material is made of 100% organic-looking ramie linen. Two pockets at the front and another at the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Gropius' a subtly individualistic creation for all those who appreciate understatement.Combined with the 'Mises' men's jacket, the 'Fichte' men's jacket or the 'Eribon' coat, the men's trousers become an autumnal ensemble. Somewhat more unconventional models in the same fabric are the 'Kafka', 'Meinong' or 'Epikur' trousers.Brand: eigensinnig wienMaterial: 100% ramie linenColor: anthracite eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Black leather sandals with wrought iron buckle. Rarity for lovers of slow craftsmanship The sandals from Tagliovivo's atelier are handmade from smooth black calfskin. The wrought iron large buckle is the most unusual detail on the minimalist creation that combines modernity and tradition in the most beautiful way: it looks as if it came from a myth. The high-quality Vibram sole, on the other hand, is an expression of modernity. It provides a soft and stable feeling when walking. All this makes the sandals an exceptional rarity for the summer. Designer Giordano Lapegna's unique leather bags are a tribute to nature: the leather from which his hands craft the extremely exquisite bags is natural and correspondingly imperfect - with a rough surface marked by the weather. Only vegetable-tanned leather is used for Tagliovivo products - the brand also makes special, individual belts - which is always a byproduct of meat production and thus has a very small ecological footprint. Versatile, casual unisex trousers made of special wool with a slightly lower crotch and pleats. A poetic rarity for freedom-loving obstinate people. The Sorrows of Young Werther, Erlkönig, Faust: Johann Wolfgang von Goethe is quite rightly considered the greatest German poet and thinker. His works are world literature and are still intensively received, discussed and appreciated today. But Goethe was also a natural scientist, which makes him nothing less than a universal genius, who - and this was anything but a matter of course - already enjoyed fame and honor during his lifetime. The trousers named after him from our own atelier are a tribute to the extraordinary poet - and with good reason, because the obstinate creation made of warming material and therefore particularly durable, resistant and grippy, wool-cotton mix, carries poetry in itself. The slightly deeper crotch offers space when walking, the pleats give the leg a pleasant width. If you don't want to wear this unusual creation casually and hipster-style, reach for a belt for more support; if you want to show off more leg, roll up the pant legs without the seams showing. Two spacious side pockets on the front offer space for the smartphone or things of similar size that the obstinate likes to carry with them.  As always, small details provide further poetry:The waistband can be closed via a button, which is positioned slightly off to the side and thus subtly irritating. The concealed button closure runs at a slight angle. The side seam on the pant leg leads into an asymmetrical slit at the hem.The back reveals an unexpected play of seams running from top to bottom. The three ochre stripes are typical for eigensinnig wien. With the avant-garde jacket 'Nietzsche' or the blazer 'Christie', which are made of the same material, Goethe becomes a special ensemble for obstinate women.   In combination with the jacket 'Leibniz' and the gilet 'Fink', which are also made of the special fabric, the result is again an unconventional creation for men. Minimalistic men's shirt made of soft bamboo-cotton mix, whose extravagance is realized in the special details - and which proves versatility in combination with other obstinacy. The German psychiatrist and philosopher Karl Jaspers is regarded as a flaming representative of existential philosophy, which clearly distinguishes itself from Sartre's existentialism. Accordingly, he sees communication as the antidote to borderline situations in which people lose all grip. Conversation would restore the existential hold: "The fact that we can talk to each other makes us human." The men's shirt from our own atelier, which we designed as a tribute to the philosopher, also provides support in a certain way. Made from a fine blend of bamboo and cotton, the minimalistic creation is a versatile companion for cool days and nights in spring and summer and occasions of all kinds. A chameleon that can be worn either classically elegant or - if you turn up the collar and roll up the sleeves a bit - casual. And now for the obstinate details:the classic collar with the tapered collar legs and the small wave on the back.the concealed button placket on the front.the extravagant wide cuff with a small slit and concealed button placket, behind which three smooth horn buttons are hidden.the two seams on the back - the first vertical, the second running diagonally across the shoulders - that meet in the middle - with a little imagination a metaphor for Jasper's concept of communication: in existential conversation two paths meet.the unconventional round hem on the front.the characteristic three ocher stripes on the hem. The subtly extravagant men's shirt becomes an elegant ensemble in combination with the slim trousers 'Gropius' in black cotton and with the jacket 'Fromm', also made of black cotton. If you like it more unconventional, combine 'Jaspers' with the harem trousers 'Kafka' made of fine cotton in black: In this combination, the obstinate character of the wearer comes especially to the surface. Asymmetrical women's blouse with diagonal seam at the back. Elegant and unusual creation for unconventional individualists. The sarcastic, provocative style, which is also often described as obscene, blasphemous, vulgar and mocking, is the trademark of the Austrian winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, Elfriede Jelinek, who never tires of exposing "the absurdity and compelling power of social clichés". She does this with a power of language that will not find its equal. The creation from the in-house atelier named after the great writer is a tribute to her: an asymmetrically cut avant-garde blouse with a semi-concealed button placket made of precious metal buttons, which are also found on the cuffs. One side is longer than the other; the open finishes give the creation a wabi-sabi aesthetic. The viscose-wool material of the blouse is also special: it is thin, yet warming. The fabric has a subtle structure and glitters very subtly - as if the sun were playing with the fibres. Just as original thinking needs freedom, the blouse also gives enough freedom. All this makes Jelinek an extraordinary obstinacy for individualists who like to think in unusual directions. Straight cut pullover in soft cotton with asymmetric detail seams. A handmade, soft obstinacy for autumn and winter. Cass Sunstein, a US professor of law at Harvard University, is one of the best-known lawyers in the country. Together with the behavioural economist Richard Thaler, he established the concept of nudging ("nudging, prodding"), in which incentives are set to steer people's behaviour in society in a certain, productive and positive direction. We have dedicated the pullover of the same name from our in-house collection to him: a creation that is characterised by the highest asymmetry at the seams and sleeve ends and yet - or precisely because of this? - it creates a coherent overall picture. A particularly idiosyncratic detail is the double-stitched collar. The grey cotton from which 'Sunstein' is made is deliberately slightly crumpled and irregular. It is reminiscent of stones and barren landscapes and seems almost organic. The detail of the three stripes in ochre, which adorn most of the new in-house creations, can also be found on the sleeves of 'Sunstein'. The men's pullover is also available in a slightly warmer version made entirely of wool. Reduced to the essentials, yet extravagant, slim longsleeve made of thick wool. Minimalist creation in the cooler season for essence-seeking individualists. "All happy families are alike, every unhappy family is unhappy in its own way" is the first and probably most famous sentence from Leo Tolstoi's novel Anna Karenina. The Russian writer is still considered one of the most important literary figures and intellectuals in the history of literature. The slim men's pullover of the same name with the round neckline from the company's own atelier is to be understood as a homage to Tolstoi. Made of pure virgin wool with a rough texture, it is reduced to the essentials and only reveals its sophistication upon closer inspection:The three ochre stripes at the cuffs are a subtle, obstinate detail. An asymmetrical seam runs from the back over the shoulders to the front - a metaphor for life, which doesn't always run in a straight line and often only unfolds in detours. Together with the unconventional trousers 'Diderot', 'Goethe', 'Feyerabend' or 'Montesquieu' in black, 'Tolstoi' can be combined in an obstinate way.On cold days we recommend to wear the pullover with the men's coat 'Schumpeter' or the model 'Voltaire' for women, which are made of the same material. Unconventional men's trousers with asymmetrical lines and puristic design made of finest linen-wool mix in anthracite. A sensual homage to the critical author and philosopher Levinas. "Works of art are ill-gotten gains" - this is how the French-Lithuanian philosopher Emmanuel Levinas criticized aesthetics in his writings. The focus is on making visible what is most intrinsic to a person, which should take place in every encounter. This is also reflected in our "Levinas" trousers, which with their slightly low crotch, provide a playful rigor when worn. The structured and flowing linen-wool fabric provides a pleasant looseness when worn. The offset trouser closure creates a pleat at the waistband and hips for a casual and comfortable fall of the trouser leg. The extraordinary model in the color anthracite has a diagonal button placket at the front and loops that allow it to be worn with various belts.Individual gentlemen who want to dare to break with a straight-line aesthetic will also like the asymmetrical seam here, which runs diagonally below the waistband at the front and continues on the back above the back pocket. Rounding out the extravagant trousers for the stricter and cooler season are several side pockets and one on the buttocks. Uniquw turtlneck pullover that surprises with subtly special details. Avant-garde creation for free spirits who do not want to commit. With "Madame Bovary" and "L'Education Sentimentale," the French novelist Gustave Flaubert introduced a new era in the European novel. In these works, he dispenses with pathos and melodrama in favor of an objectified realism and presents life as what it actually is most of the time: a tough and sluggish flow whose fascination lies in precisely this monotony. Similarly unpretentious yet sophisticated is the black summer pullover from the in-house atelier, which can be worn by all genders. The sophistication of the slim-fitting, versatile lightness made from a soft bamboo-cotton blend is revealed to the observer on the second view, when the details start to come into their own.The special collar with slightly frayed, wabi-sabi-like seams can be closed via a button made of high-quality, delicate horn, transforming the obstinacy into an unconventional turtleneck pullover. With the opened button, 'Flaubert' becomes a casual companion for cooler moments in spring and summer. The sleeves and the waistband close unexcitingly straight. In combination with the black linen trousers 'Feyerabend', 'Flaubert' becomes an unconventional, casual ensemble for leisure or work. For special occasions, the pullover can be worn by men with the slim-fitting trousers 'Gropius' and the jacket 'Fromm', ladies can turn it into an elegant, extraordinary ensemble with the trousers 'Didion'.
