Tagliovivo's unconventional backpack is made of black, hand-dyed Culatta horse leather. The leather's deliberately irregular surface is durable and has a natural look.

It is worn casually over one shoulder or more strictly over both. The shoulder straps can be adjusted in length. The strong character, puristically designed bag can be opened and closed via a belt-like, wrought-iron clasp. It becomes obstinate by its hidden zip compartment on the back side: you could think a secret has to be kept here. The inside reveals high-quality canvas lining and a separate zippered compartment for smartphone, wallet and other items of value.

Designer Giordano Lapegna's unique leather bags are a tribute to nature: the leather from which his hands craft the extremely exquisite bags is natural and correspondingly imperfect - with a rough surface marked by the weather. Only vegetable-tanned leather is used for Tagliovivo products - the brand also makes special, individual belts - which is always a byproduct of meat production and thus has a very small ecological footprint. Each piece is different, just like their wearers. Each piece changes over the years - and gets even more personality.
