Women Individualistic, unique avant-garde fashion pieces for obstinate women.

Our showroom and our online store offer special pieces for obstinate women. The stylistic spectrum of the select unique pieces by national and international avant-garde brands ranges from refined to extravagant to minimalistic, with a focus on high-quality natural materials, sophisticated cuts and poetic details.

Loose-fitting and light women's short sleeve shirt made of flowing soft linen with sophisticated details. Extravagant summeriness for freedom-loving individualists. Anglo-Irish writer and philosopher Iris Murdoch was a thought leader in the gender debate-probably for autobiographical reasons, as she described herself as a person "in the skin of a homosexual man cheating on his wife." We have dedicated our women's short-sleeved shirt from our in-house atelier to this great non-conformist thinker. It is cut wide, has a loose, round neckline and is incredibly comfortable to wear due to the material used - a flowing soft linen fabric. Also inscribed in this waywardness are some clever details that make it the extravagant-casual piece that it is: On the front there is a discreet side pocket, which is gladly filled with smartphone or other small items.A straight, central seam is found on both sides. It ends in a slit that divides the top in a certain way into two halves, one of which is longer than the other: an allusion to the Japanese wabi-sabi concept, which locates true beauty in flaws, imperfections and asymmetry.Combined with 'Feyerabend' trousers in black linen, 'Murdoch' becomes an extravagant, versatile ensemble - in part because the trousers' straps can be removed and worn as an unusual tie. The elegant, slim trousers 'Didion', on the other hand, ground the obstinacy by putting its extravagance into perspective in an extraordinary way. Elegant and at the same time loose women's trousers with wide leg and extravagant belt. A tribute to the unconventional, subtle woman. These unusual beige women's trousers were inspired by Austrian writer Marlene Streeruwitz: politically engaged, feminist and with a deep sense of subtle poetry. We've dedicated these trousers, made of light linen, to her in a striking combination of idiosyncrasy and detailed aesthetics. If you look closely, you'll automatically find yourself asking questions, because nothing here is business as usual. The wide leg of the Marlene trousers - already elegant in the twenties and a courageous symbol of emancipated women - is here given a certain influence of the karate trousers. Because it absolutely has to be comfortable in everyday life despite expressive obstinacy. The two side pockets, elegant pleats and extravagant seams skillfully round out these obstinate, light and loose flowing women's trousers without weighing them down. The noble buttons are made of horn. The special belt to tie is another special feature, it can even be removed and used elsewhere - for example as a tie for the androgynous style or unconventionally tied around the arm. The women's trousers are suitable for the most diverse fashion styles of the emancipated woman of today, who feels comfortable in business, but also casually in leisure time. You can wear them casually on the hip with a simple shirt, but also quite neat with a blouse. Show the different facets of your character. The soft linen blend of the finest, flowing quality is always comfortable to wear. Light, elegant women's cotton blouse in black with rounded hem. An obstinate creation that represents the union of elegance and comfort. "Lay down your arms!" - This is the title of one of the most famous works by the Austrian peace researcher and writer Bertha von Suttner, who campaigned for pacifism and a peaceful society like no other. Not for nothing was the Viennese honored with the Nobel Peace Prize for it. Our women's blouse "Suttner" is dedicated to the pacifist mission and stands out with a particularly soft and flowing material. The extravagant design convinces with minimalist but soft, subtle details such as a continuous concealed placket with finely crafted horn buttons. Women who prefer an individual and avant-garde sense of design will also be pleased with the following stubborn features:Three ocher stripes on the hem slitLong sleeves with wide cuffs and three delicate horn buttonsStraight vertical and diagonal horizontal seam at the back, meeting in the middleSmall wave at the collar In spring and summer, "Suttner" can be worn as a light blouse with elegant and slim cotton "Didion" trousers in blue. A more unconventional ensemble is created by loosely rolling up the sleeve cuffs and combining it with the trousers "Châtelet in black with the special "Dreyfus" tie. "Suttner" is also available in the color grey. Brand: eigensinnig wienColor: blackMaterial: 100% cottonFit: elegant-fluent eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women. Light, minimalistic women's jacket with zip and obstinate details. Subtly extravagant creation for individualists who know what they want.  Poetry, novels, children's books, stage texts, radio plays, and mixed forms of these: the work of the Austrian writer Friederike Mayröcker, "who, as a black figure in her note-strewn apartment, has already become a legend during her lifetime" (Ö1), is considerable. A quick glance is enough to determine: The woman loved experimentation, the new and the unknown, and consistently exposed herself to it throughout her life.  The slim-fitting women's jacket from our own atelier that we've dedicated to this great word artist might even have liked to wear herself, who loved black so much. Made from a light linen and rayon blend with two side pockets, the creation is similarly experimental and avant-garde as large parts of her work. Just as presumably everyone reads something different out of Mayröcker's texts, so too everybody can probably interpret something different into the wearer of the women's jacket - depending on how she wears it. The zip makes the jacket extremely versatile: its two slides can be moved up and down at will. Particularly unconventional is the version in which the slides are placed in the middle and thereby open the jacket in both directions. Special are also the details of the women's jacket:the slit at the bottom of the zipper.the small, poetic wave at the end of the sleeves.the asymmetrical seam along the collar.the vertical seam on the back that ends in a small, unexpected slit at the hem.the back, which looks like a screen broken into several parts, separated by seams that partially extend over the shoulders and into the sleeves - a metaphor for different phases of life or the many parts that are in this obstinate woman. The three ocher stripes on the pockets and sleeves are typical for eigensinnig. In combination with the trousers 'Streeruwitz' in the same color and the shirt 'Behn' in black made of fine cotton an unconventional ensemble is created for days in spring and summer. Avant-garde shorts for men and women with low crotch and round leg made of black linen cotton viscose fabric. Pure individuality. One of the favorite topics of the philosopher and Enlightenment philosopher Denis Diderot was freedom of will. He was firmly convinced that man could jump over his own shadow - and that no human being had the natural right to give orders to others. This rebellious esprit is also inscribed in the trousers named after him by eigensinnig wien: The shorts, which can be worn by both men and women, are unconventional in cut and material. They sit loosely and offer freedom of movement, the leg cut is slightly rounded and they feature the asymmetrical detail seams typical of eigensinnig wien. The linen-cotton viscose fabric in subtle black is especially durable. An obstinate detail is the hidden zip pocket on the left side of the back. All this makes 'Diderot' an unconventional companion for individualists on warm summer days. Combined with the light men's shirts 'Jay' by Hannibal or 'Gruen' from eigensinnig wien, the unconventional men's shorts become a spring-like ensemble. Wide, unusual women's trousers with a low crotch in 100% black rayon. A creation that combines Arabic and Japanese influences and looks like a skirt at first glance. Dedicated to the 12th-century Andalusian philosopher and Muslim scholar Averroes, these wide-legged women's trousers with a deep crotch from the in-house atelier. A great follower of Aristotle, Averroes wrote commentaries on almost every work of his - which is why he is also known as "The Commentator". He is considered the grandfather of the Enlightenment and saw logic as the only way for man to arrive at truth. The trousers named after him are a sophisticated creation that combines Arabic and Japanese influences and looks like a skirt when standing. When you move, the wide-cut trouser legs flutter back and forth - making walking alone a sensual experience. The elasticated waistband with drawstring offers room for manoeuvre and does not constrict. The material of the trousers, which can be worn all year round, is special: It is 100% rayon, a type of viscose made from wood- or cotton-based cellulose. The fabric has a subtle structure and glitters very subtly - as if the sun were playing with the fibres. The two side pockets on the front have space for things you like to carry with you. As with most of the new in-house creations, 'Averroes' also features the detail of the three stripes in ochre.Combined with the 'Dante' jacket, 'Jelinek' blouse or 'Colette' blouse, the women's trousers become an unconventional ensemble in a class of its own. Playfully elegant, long women's blouse with special collar. Pure individualism for freedom lovers. "What a glorious life I've had! I only wish I had noticed it sooner," is one of the charming phrases attributed to the French writer, vaudevillian and journalist Sidonie-Gabrielle Claudine Colette, who acted only under her surname. We have dedicated this long women's blouse from our own studio to her. There are a lot of obstinate things here: there is the special, wave-shaped collar; there are the diagonal, open seams on the front; there are the elegant cuffs without buttons and the side slits for freedom of movement. The material of the blouse is also special: it is 100% rayon, a type of viscose made from wood- or cotton-based cellulose. The fabric has a subtle structure and glitters very subtly - as if the sun were playing with the fibres. All this makes 'Colette' a playfully elegant, individualistic creation for autumn and winter. Slim-fitting women’s blouse made of organic-looking linen with unusual asymmetrical seams at the back. ‘Chomsky’ is a tribute to Noam Chomsky, the American professor of linguistics, who has been vehemently criticizing capitalism for decades.  With a similar vehemence, the women’s blouse rejects smooth surfaces: It is made of organic-looking linen, which prefers to present itself in a crumpled way. The small, delicate buttons look just as natural as the fabric. The asymmetrical cut on the back, typical of eigensinnig wien, and the hems that were deliberately left open create a wabi-sabi aesthetic. Obstinate details include the sleeve ends with double seams and the V-shaped scissure.'Chomsky II' comes in different colors and materials. Long and extraordinary women's blouse made of bamboo in white with elegant waterfall neckline. Versatile creation of a blouse that can also be worn casually as an off-shoulder variant and with a belt. According to French philosopher Simone Weil, "The vulnerability of precious things is beautiful because vulnerability is a characteristic of existence." The teacher and social revolutionary not only showed political strength, but also stands for the interconnectedness of action and contemplation. Just as precious as the existential, vulnerable things of this world is our fashionably handcrafted rarity "Weil", which makes an impression with its elegant, relaxed design. The mutual "vulnerability" is also made clear by the central meeting of the eye-catching contrast seams in the back area. The light and long blouse made of high quality bamboo has a back side that was made slightly longer than the front side. The obstinate and elegant unique piece can also convince with subtle details on the back. These include:Loose small wave at the collarOne horizontal and vertical seam each, which obstinately meet in the middle2 small slits on the side of the hemTogether with the slim-fitting trousers "Bachmann" and the blazer "Christie the result is an elegant but extraordinary ensemble for special occasions. Unconventional avant-garde women's trousers made of 100% soft cotton with special details. Rarity for individualists. Émilie du Châtelet was an extraordinary intellectual in 18th-century France: she was a mathematician, physicist, philosopher and - together with her lover Voltaire - translator of Newton's works. Allegedly, she even wrote on Newtonian theories during the birth of her daughter (!), from which she ultimately died. The women's trousers named after her from the company's own atelier are just as exceptional: they have a slightly wider cut, two small pleats on the front and diagonally running detail seams. Other idiosyncratic details include the fabric edges as pocket ends, the three ochre stripes on the pockets and the wave-like cut on the waistband of the back, which can be interpreted as a reference to Heraclitus and "everything flows". The soft material, which is hand-dyed in our atelier and deliberately irregular in its coloring, is 100% organic cotton. Two pockets in the front and another one on the back offer space for things you like to carry with you. All this makes 'Châtelet ' an unconventional creation for individualists. The avant-garde trousers go perfectly with the blazer 'Christie', which is made of the same fabric and in combination with the women's top 'Michiko' makes a fancy women's suit. A material that has been dyed by hand and therefore has natural irregularities that make each piece unique in a Wabi-sabi look. The antique-looking silver ring is the most unique detail on the minimalist creation that combines modernity and tradition in the most beautiful way: it looks as if it came from a myth or fairy tale. Loose-fitting women's top made of fine bamboo in white with a relaxed cut. An unconventional summer rarity for freedom-loving individualists. The Japanese-Austrian writer Milena Michiko Flasa convinces readers with profound novels like "I called him Tie", in which the protagonists strive to deviate from the norm. This obstinate rebellion against fixed norms is also visualized in the women's top, dedicated by name to the author from Vienna, who has been awarded many cultural and literary prizes. The frayed seams at the hem bring out the Wabi-sabi aesthetic of "Michiko" particularly well. Furthermore, the light top inspires with surprising details: These includes an eye-catching seam above the hem that does not run in a completely straight line, but "deviates from the original line for a moment" on both the front and back. The avant-garde women's top is complemented by the following textile gimmicks, which particularly appeals to individualists who attach great importance to fashionable freedom:Unconventional neckline with a small wave on the back sideSide hem with three ocher stripesShort sleeves"Michiko" looks particularly impressive with the minimalist trousers "Didion", which are made of high-quality black cotton.
