This lightweight women's vest is one of the most noticeable products of the Italian designer Cutuli. Self-evident naturalness is emphasized here by the very obstinate cut. Nothing is as expected on the design and you reinvent your appearance with it again and again. In summer, the airy vest can be quickly thrown over, it wraps up or becomes a charming canvas. From the back as well as the front, the piece is idiosyncratic to look at. At the same time it gives a feeling of freedom and informality.

The loose summer vest that turns everything upside down is made of linen and cotton. The plain white is interspersed with a dark abstract pattern. The diagonal shape and frayed seams combine with the minimalism of wabi-sabi, resulting in something completely new. The irregularities in the material structure are quite deliberate, representing undemandingness due to acquired maturity. Because beauty is anything but classic.

Calabrian designer Claudio Cutuli comes from an old family of dyers and weavers, so his designs combine traditional craftsmanship with unconventional ideas. The extraordinary aesthetics of the natural materials cotton and linen is shown in a noticeably coarse structure. The rather muted colors gently ground the striking, irregular patterns. In well-known wabi-sabi tradition, the deliberately frayed seams reflect the beauty of incomplete and imperfect things. All unique pieces have an artistic beauty, they gently cover, artfully veil or emphasize the obstinate character of the self-confident wearer.
The manufactory is based in picturesque Umbria and is run by Claudio Cutuli and his wife.
