Men's pullover for autumn and winter that makes deconstruction visible and resolves contradictions of round and square, soft and "raw" in an obstinate way. The French philosopher Jacques Derrida founded the method of deconstruction, in which texts are critically scrutinised and disassembled in order to arrive at their essence (which may well be contradictory!), in the 1960s. An experimental approach of disassembling and reassembling is also the method we like to use in our own collections. Contradictions often dissolve into harmony. This is also the case with the 'Derrida' pullover: the asymmetrical seams and the frayed, open hems make deconstruction visible. The deliberately slightly crumpled, irregular cotton fabric looks organic, reminiscent of stones and barren landscapes. The collar with its 90 degree angle is special, bringing round and square together in an idiosyncratic way. As with most of the new in-house creations, 'Derrida' also has the three stripes in ochre at the sleeve ends. All this makes the men's jumper an unconventional creation with a lot of thoughts and questions.Brand: eigensinnig wienMaterial: 100% cottonColor: grey eigensinnig wien: Special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Long women’s jacket made of lightweight, linen-like ramie. An unusual creation that combines elegance and roughness with playful severity in an obstinate way.“Since it is very conducive to health, I have decided to be happy,” is one of the most famous quotes by 18th-century French author, poet and philosopher known by his pen name Voltaire. The jacket named after him was created in our own workshop and is a tribute to the poet: It was made for people looking for creations that equally combine elegance, roughness and playful severity. On the one hand, the fabric is responsible for the success of this symbiosis: Ramie, also called china grass, is a linen-like fabric obtained from the stem of the ramie plant, a bast fiber. The typical characteristics of ramie are its subtle, silky sheen – and its great lightness. This women’s jacket features a variety of obstinate details:the elaborate collar which can be worn both as a lapel and as a stand-up collarthe special sleeves with asymmetrical finish and the three ochre linesthe ocher yellow seam bindings inside the jacketthe seams deliberately left open at the bottomthe subtle, natural-looking horn buttonsthe two large pockets for smartphone, wallet and other items and the three-line detail"Voltaire' matches the women's trousers „Leontion“ and „Brentano“ as well as to the vest  „Heller“, which are all made of the same fabric and, when combined with the light jacket, turn into an estival  ensemble. Short avant-garde women's blazer made of viscose and linen with a distinctive collar. In beautiful grey - elegant and special. The eponymous women's blazer is dedicated to none other than Socrates, probably the most famous Greek philosopher. It is cut short, fits casually to the body and has the asymmetrical detail seams that are so characteristic for 'eigensinnig wien'. Obstinate is also the discreet, round shawl collar, where the upper collar and lapel merge seamlessly. The fabric, which is hand-dyed in our studio, has an abstract effect due to its individual coloring and makes 'Sokrates' a unique piece. A companion full of character with history. For ladies who are looking for a business suit, we recommend 'Sokrates' and 'Eschenbach‘ trousers in the same material and colour. Designer: eigensinnig wienColor: greyComposition: 70% viscose 30% lineneigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. The collar is special, with its 90-degree angle that brings round and square together in a wayward way. As with most of the new in-house creations, 'Derrida' features the three stripes in ochre at the cuffs. All this makes the men's sweater an unconventional creation, in which there is a lot of thought and questions. Women combine the obstinate pullover with the black trousers 'Didion' or 'Feyerabend' and create a casual ensemble for colder days. Loose-fitting and light women's short-sleeved shirt made of flowing-soft bamboo-cotton mix with refined details. Extravagant summeriness for freedom-loving individualists. Anglo-Irish writer and philosopher Iris Murdoch was a thought leader in the gender debate-probably for autobiographical reasons, as she described herself as a person "in the skin of a homosexual man cheating on his wife." We've dedicated our women's short-sleeved shirt from our in-house atelier to this great non-conformist thinker. It is cut wide, has a loose, round neckline and is incredibly comfortable to wear due to the material used - a flowing soft bamboo-cotton mix. Also inscribed in this obstinacy are some clever details that make it the extravagantly casual piece that it is:On the front, you'll find a discreet side pocket that's happy to be filled with smartphone or other small items.A straight, center seam is found on both sides. In each case, it leads into a slit that divides the top in a certain way into two halves, one of which is longer than the other: an allusion to the Japanese wabi-sabi concept, which locates true beauty in flaw, imperfection and asymmetry.Combined with 'Feyerabend' trousers in black linen, 'Murdoch' becomes an extravagant, versatile ensemble - in part because the trousers' ties can be removed and worn as an unusual tie. The elegant, slim trousers 'Didion', on the other hand, ground the obstinacy by putting its extravagance into perspective in an unconventional way. Men's low-cut trousers in natural ramie linen. An elegantly raw, obstinate reinterpretation of pleated trousers. These trousers are dedicated to the Greek philosopher Epicurus. Epicurus, who devoted his life to physics, logic and ethics, always aimed to increase the joy of life by enjoying every day and every moment. The men's trousers with the low crotch and the large legroom from the in-house atelier are also intended to convey this joie de vivre. They are handmade from natural, thin and slightly creased ramie linen. These men's trousers are full of quirky details:The inverted pleats: They go inward, not outward.the concealed button placket with the discreet, natural horn buttonsthe ocher yellow seam edgings inside the trousers, which become visible when you roll up the trouser legsthe asymmetrical detail seams on the trouser legsthe two side pockets with the detail of the three linesIf man wants it a little more classic, "Epikur" with the men's jacket "Mises" becomes an autumnal avant-garde two-piece. Brand: eigensinnig wienMaterial: 100% linenColor: anthracite eigensinnig wien: special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Unique avant-garde jacket for women made of natural ramie linen. A minimalist, obstinate creation for individualists. Susan Sontag war eine scharfe Kritikerin der US-Regierung und eine unermüdliche Kämpferin für Menschenrechte. Die amerikanische Schriftstellerin, Essayistin, Publizistin und Regisseurin ist vor allem für ihre kunst- und kulturkritischen Essays über Fotografie, die sie als einen „Akt der Nicht-Einmischung“ begreift, bekannt. A tribute to the intellectual is the avant-garde women's jacket named after her. It is made from natural, thin and slightly creased ramie linen. The short, discreet stand-up collar, the concealed button placket and the asymmetrical detail seams give the women's jacket an obstinate noble look. The sharp, cut-off edges on the cuffs, where the detail of the three ochre stripes can also be found, lend it a certain uncompromising quality. Two large inside pockets offer space for smartphone, wallet and other things you like to carry with you. The 'Châtelet' trousers in the same fabric make 'Sontag' an exceptional ensemble for individualistsBrand: eigensinnig wienColor: anthraciteMaterial: 100% ramie lineneigensinnig wien: Special avant-garde fashion for men and women.Under our avant-garde fashion label eigensinnig wien, we manufacture unique fashion pieces for obstinate characters. Minimalist cotton tube scarf with waffle structure. Protects from wind and weather on cold days with style. "The Catcher in the Rye" is Jerome David Salinger's only novel, but one of world renown. After publishing it, he withdrew from the public eye: the American writer did not want to be famous. The scarf named after him by eigensinnig wien is similarly reserved and "sophisticated". It is a puristically designed tunnel scarf that can be worn in many different ways: You can simply let it hang like a necklace, throw it over your shoulder or wrap it around your neck several times to protect yourself from wind and weather. Unconventional long T-shirt for free spirits regardless of gender. A lightness that feels soft and good on the skin. French philosopher Michel Serres was known for his unconventional and experimental approach to philosophy. His "hyperassociative" works are not always easy to read, but refreshingly different - and always keen to mix and mingle philosophy with other disciplines and the non-spiritual, physical.A similar unconventionality can be attributed to the T-shirt named after him from the in-house atelier: Made of a soft, refined bamboo-cotton blend, the long, casual T-shirt defies categorization, is as versatile as a chameleon, and surprises with a few details: On the front runs a diagonal seam in the color white, which continues on the back and then divides - a metaphor for life, which is not always straightforward and requires people to make decisions. The sleeves finish asymmetrically - as well as the hem at the back, which is also slightly longer than the front. There is an extravagant slit on the back that you wouldn't expect here. The neckline is round at the front, while forming a wave at the back - another unexpected subtle detail. Combined with the 'Brus' jacket and 'Feyerabend' trousers, 'Serres' becomes a special ensemble for gentlemen who like to emphasize their obstinate character. On warm summer days, the T-shirt can be combined with 'Levinas' shorts and summer boots or sandals. Elegant raw men's jacket made of the finest linen. Versatile companion for individualists in everyday life and on special occasions. "Our world is the best of all possible worlds, it has a maximum richness of moments and in this sense the greatest possible diversity." - this is how the German philosopher Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz described the optimal world view, which is constantly subject to change. Experimentation and continuous development are also characteristics of our creations and are reflected in the men's jacket 'Leibniz'.This minimalist men's companion has been crafted from lightweight linen and can be worn in a variety of ways. Combined with a classic shirt and slim-fit trousers, this unusual jacket makes an elegant suit for formal occasions. However, it can also be worn casually in leisure time with rolled-up sleeves with a plain T-shirt or sweater. Unconventional individualists can also dare the bold style break and choose a pair of shorts with light summer boots. The unconventional jacket is reduced to the essentials and yet radiates obstinacy. It is a rarity for everyday wear as well as for special occasions, and its subtle details such as the asymmetrical sleeve slit at the cuff or the fine horn buttons unobtrusively bring out the obstinate character of the wearer. An extravagant model that can be worn especially in spring and summer due to its light material, but also in the cold season under a coat.Special features of the men's jacket:asymmetrical sleeve slit at the cuff2 side pockets, 1 outer breast pocket and 2 inner pockets for carrying personal belongingsclosable with two horn buttonslight linen rayon mix for spring and summer.
