Dream analysis, id, ego and superego: these are just a few of the terms and concepts that go back to Sigmund (actually Sigismund Schlomo) Freud, the famous Viennese founder of psychoanalysis. For more than 100 years, people have been lying down, symbolically or actually, "on the couch" to explore their subconscious in a cultivated ambience.
We've dedicated the eponymous men's shirt from our in-house atelier to this influential thinker. Handmade of fine, soft cotton, it exudes extravagance in a subtle way - and is thus reminiscent of the famous psychoanalytic couch, which is said to have a similar sophistication. As versatile as man's inner life, the minimalist men's shirt can be worn in a variety of ways, making it the ideal companion for cooler days and nights in spring and summer and occasions of all kinds.

the elegant, small collar.
the concealed button placket on the front - a metaphor for the subconscious?
the striking, wide cuff with concealed button placket, behind which two delicate, smooth horn buttons are hidden.
the two asymmetrical seams on the back that open into the hem. This gives the round hem small corners that give the shirt extra charisma.
the asymmetrical stitching on the sleeves.

In combination with the black men's trousers 'Gropius' or 'Goethe' in black and the unconventional jacket 'Roquentin' an avant-garde ensemble for special occasions is created.

We work with materials from nature, which we like to combine in asymmetrical, avant-garde cuts. Our aesthetic is based on the Japanese wabi-sabi concept: “Pare down to the essence, but don’t remove the poetry.”
